1 Corinthians 1-19:20 (NLT)
For Jesus Christ, the Son of God, does not waver between “Yes” and “No.” He is the one whom Silas, Timothy, and I preached to you, and as God’s ultimate “Yes,” he always does what he says. 20 For all of God’s promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding “Yes!” And through Christ, our “Amen” (which means “Yes”) ascends to God for his glory. |
All of God's promises in Christ Jesus are YES and AMEN! Yes, we are redeemed sons and daughters of God Almighty. (2 Corithians 6:18). Yes, our sins are covered in the blood of Jesus (Romans 4:7). Yes, we are the righteousness of God (2 Corinthians 5:21). Yes, our sins are forgiven and cast as far as the East is from the West (Pslam 103:12). Yes, we are more than conquerors through Him (Romans 8:37). Yes, we will do greater things because Jesus is with the Father (John 14:12). Yes, we are coheirs with Christ (Romans 8:17). Yes, we are the salt and light of the world (Matthew 5:14). Yes, we are an epistle of Christ (Romans 2:15). Yes, we are chosen, called, and equipped for God's use (Ephesians 2:10). Yes, we are girded in Godly armor (Ephesians 6:11). Yes, we have authority to trample over snakes, scorpions, and the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). Yes, by His stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Yes, our hope is an anchor for our souls (Hebrews 6:18). Yes, we have a great Wonder Counselor who defeated sin and death (1 Corinthians 15:57). Yes, we have eternal life! (Romans 6:23) Yes, there is a blessed hope, Jesus (Titus 2:13). Yes, we are sealed by the Holy Spirit (2 Corinthians 1:22). Yes, our inheritance is in Heaven (1 Peter 1:4). Yes, we are the head and not the tail (Deuteronomy 28:13). Yes, we are bought with a price (1 Corinthians 6:20). Yes, we live by faith and not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7). Yes, our fruits are love, joy, peace, goodness, kindness, patience, faithfulness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22). Yes, we are protected under the shadow of His wings (Psalm 91:4). And yes, satan is a footstool under our feet (Romans 16:20). Yes, we live by truth - the word of the LIVING God (1 Corinthians 3:16). Yes, our God is the Beginning and the End (Revelation 22:13). And HE is coming back one day to get us! (1 Thessalonians 4:16) Hallelujah, Thanks be to God!
